Thumbs up

A few weeks ago I had my service done and found out I needed new front pads and discs. So I had discs, pads and braided hoses from TSL. So I've taken took it steady for a few hundred miles. Well now they are nicely bedded in they are brilliant. Made it on track at the weeked and with them warmed up they are something else. So thanks to TSL and all the lads there for a great service and brake job.

Cheers

Why chuckster.... how kind of you to enquire!

This week, Steve 'as been mostly wearing the bruise inducing DS 4003 (i think).. or 2500.. I honestly don't remember... They're both amazing anyway, light up from cold, get better with heat. Discs are our very own Grp. N passivated grey iron with four elliptical grooves put in.. to face off said sexy pads. Set of braided lines and some proper fluid

a very good way to allow the humble Subaru four pot to hold it's head with MUCH more expensive hardware.... and I will make you tea. while you watch them being fitted... (allegedly)

The Trouser Express (tm)... will be full of these.. Pro Boost.. and loads of other things normally found on a Scooby nutter's wish list at Donno on sat. Easily spotted with it's subtle TSL graphics on the side... a true mecca for Track-junkies!..... or something!

Trouser,

do you have the DS2500 to fit my 16" AP kit?

It seems no one has them in stock at the moment.

Edited to say they're required for Donno Saturday.

Mo,

Falkland Performance Centre have some DS2500s in stock for the AP 4 pots (or they did yesterday). They can normally do next day delivery, so you would probably need to order first thing tomorrow to get them in time for Friday.

Question

Hi Chuckster!

could you not get through mate?

Special donno prices! Discs £200 INCLUDING VAT!!
Four pot DS 2500/3000/4003 £150 INCLUDING VAT!!

So that saves you nearly £40 on the day!!

Its a tank of fuel isn't it! (important at 8 mpg )

Please call if any of you need anything!

Cheers

I've had a look at the TSL site and would be very interested in the brembo set up. Does anyone know if they keep them in stock?

Question

Could someone tell me the TSL web address please. And also, what treatment is involved to make a passivated disc and what are the benefits?

Cheers.

TSL GpN passivated discs with DS4003 are excellent, but they make a hell of a noise when you use them hard whilst they are nice and warm. No matter, least you can't hear the tyres squeelin'

Having managed to 'enjoy' the effects of brake fade a few times during my extended Tour D'Ecosse, it becomes a toss up between sorting out the suspension or getting some decent anchors installed.

Nothing like braking for a corner and finding nothing happens. Certainly focuses the mind!

What's the damage for the TSL upgrade?

Im so sick of this TSL Wondergods rubbish. You'd think they own the bleedin place!!!!!

They are C.R.A.P.!!

Rubbish coffee and the bloke sits their and tries to sell you more stuff while you wait!!!!! And they wont give any stuff away for free. One bloke had to pay to put some TSL adverts all over his car!!!!

Jza TSL hater

(for some cheap mods I will change my stance though Paul

Red face

Oops.. sorry to take so long to jump on this thread again chaps.. I have obviously spent too much time in "members gallery" laughing at pictures of Salsa King

Just a quick clarifier

Group N Discs £188 per pair
Ferodo DS 2500 £140 per set
Goodridge lines £69 per full set

Plus VAT.. and fitting if you would like us to do it!

(these are 4 pot prices) 2 pot discs are a little cheaper.

The discs are Brembo group N quality, but we have four elliptical grooves put in over here, to help face off the pads

These are a very high iron content disk and the surface picks up the pad material very well.. 2500's take a little while to bed in, but it is worth the wait!

Please call if we can help

0115 937 7200

Cheers

Trouser

edited cos i forgot to spell properly
