Default Weight?

I'm going to get some 17" alloy wheels.

I was wondering if anyone knows if - 215/40/17 would be much heavier than my standard wrx alloys at present - 205/50/15.

The last thing I want to do is slow my scooby down

Depends completely on the alloy (especially that) and tyre.

My 18" Prodrive/OZ's with 215/35 Hankooks are lighter than my RB5 Speedline 17" alloys with 215/40 Toyo's.

OZ alloys are know for they're lightness.

The Alloys I'm after are ACE, but I'm not sure of the weight or tyre, but is it likely to be that much heavier?

Never heard of those. Find out how much they weigh from the supplier/manufacturer. How much does your std WRX alloy and tyre weigh?

I'm not sure about the weight of my standard alloys, I need to weigh tonight.

I will ask supplier weight of ACE.

They are these:-

They look similar to wheels I've seen on a couple of other cars.

I think my RB5 wheels are 20kg each, but the Prodrive OZ's are a least a couple of kilos lighter (per wheel). Never had 16's so have no idea what they weigh.
