Default 17" Tyre Pressure

Dear All,

Surely the recommended pressures (found in the drivers side door pillar) are a little low?! 23 front and 21 rear.

It's a 2001 bugeye with standard 17" wheels and tyre size.

Cheers,

Charlie

Certainly does sound low. I run my MY05 WRX at around 33 front, 29 rear (which is what the manual says, IIRC), but you'll get lots of different opinions on here: it all depends on how you want your car to handle.

Also depends on what tyres you have, i ended up running my eagle F1's at 36 psi all round to help stiffen up the sloppy sidewall.

Running F1's too, but hadn't noticed the sloppy sidewalls. Well in comparison to previous cars.

But I'll have a play around with the pressures.

Thanks for all your help!
