Default Two Piece Disks for 03 STI with Brembos

Is there anyone who does a two piece replacement disk for the 03 STI, fitted with Brembo as standard.

I just prefer the Disk/bell option to plain new disks.

I got some from Godspeed in the last groupbuy they were about £350, I fitted them with DS2500 pads and I am really happy with them

I also need some discs for my Brembo swap (the calipers are already on Heathrow Airpot, waiting for my GF to pick them up next week ) for my WRX and have also seen the AP Strap drive kit. But I'm not really lucky with this kit because it uses smaller pads (50mm instead of 60mm). Does AP has also 'conventional' 2 piece discs which will fit with the STi calipers? I couldn't find anything on their Homepage

greetings from vienna

D.B.A. is another one to look at. I know a guy that has them fitted to his evo. He gives them major grief at trackdays every month and he's well impressed with them.

Talk to BG Developments in Bromsgrove. Take them in a standard disc and they'll be able to make up some ally bells that fit with an off the shelf AP disc to do what you want. Or they may have done it already in which case they'll have a design on the shelf (or in the CNC machine memory more like).

They are an AP agent so have access to the discs. But they also have a machine shop so can make up one off bits like bells too.

They give great service and not ridiculous prices either. They're on 01527 873716.

Try Zen for Performance Friction, had them on my 2005 STi a while now with PF carbon metallic pads. Huge upgrade on standard discs with DS2500.

Do you know which pads exactly will be used with the Strap Drive discs?
(For example, Ferodo DS2500, Type FCP1334H are for original Brembos)

Think the ferodo strapdrive pads are FRP3028H, at work at present and I have this written down somewhere at home, will correct tomorrow if I'm wrong. Alyn would know anyway if you need some.

Now checked my notes at home and can confirm FRP3028H is correct part no for Gold Brembo/AP strapdrive discs (50 mm radial depth).

Thanks for checking
Meanwhile I have found in several forums that there are some problems with the straps on the AP Discs, so I decided to go for the DBA5000
