Question 9" section wide tyres on 16" et46 wheels on a classic?

ok then did some measuring last night, they won't rub on the struts and i reckon i've got enough clearance for a bit of give too, arches though... bit of rolling and i think they'll just about fit

just for anyone's future reference, 225/50/16s do fit

Sorry, only just seen this. Er, yes they do If you have good clearance otherwise you'll need to remove the rubbing strip and possibly roll the arches too.
