warped discs, soft pedal and the peak tour looming..
as some of you will know, my brakes faded badly on the last tour which didn't exactly fill me with confidence in the brakes on the scoob...
Currently got what look like tarox grooved disks and std pads on the front. The pads were changed foc after the tour as it was suspected that they may have been dodgy but im now thinking about this peak tour and want to have some trust in them....
Unfortunately, i've now got what feels like warped discs at the front which is very very noticable from fast road speeds and takes away some braking power..either in real terms of just how my foot feels..
Looks like i need to change the whole front brakes so what have you found that works well? not talking full on big brakes or anything, i'd just like some brakes i can trust. was also thinking of some good fluid and some braided hoses....
What have you lot tried?

Scooby Regular
Warped discs are known to happen when the driver 'sits' on the pedal after a bit of heavy braking.
I have only used standard discs and pads and find them absolutely fine - but then I am not a lunatic driver so are very happy with what Subaru has calculated.
