Default HELP! Extreme tyre wear

I have a 97 uk turbo wagon. The two back tyres in the middle to outside edge have worn in a matter of 10 miles the outside edge has got a lip on it where it has worn the tyre. Took the car down to my local tyre place who think it could be either shock absorbers or camber. Any ideas?

Cheers
Darren

To wear that quickly something must be way out of alignment - I'm surprised you didn't see a trail of smoke from the tyres as you drove along

Did the previous set of tyres wear that fast? If not then the garage changing them must have damaged something - one think that could do it is if they jacked/supported the car by the track rod arms and bent them - look underneath, they should be dead straight.

Other possibilities are that someone has fitted camber bolts, and they are completely out of alignment, or that the bushes have collapsed.
