Default abs with bigger brakes

how does fitting bigger brakes stop you quicker (if thats the idea) with abs fitted, dont mean to sound clueless but surely the abs kicks in at the time/ pressure?

Bigger brakes slow you dwon quicker, that doesn't mean that the wheels are going to be locking though, therfore the ABS won't be affected....

Bigger brakes mean the caliper is mounted further from the centre line of the wheel, so, the more leverage it has over the wheel.

Bigger discs also have the advantage of being able to cope with the higher temperatures better. They have more metal area to spread the thermal load.
