Default New-age tyre size question...

Does anyone know if i can fit 225/40/18 tyres to my 53 plate wrx instead of the 215/45/17's?
And what difference will they make??

Thanks

Handy calculator here

225/40/18 is supplied with the PFF-7 wheel from Prodrive for the new age.
