Are drilled and grooved brakes also vented?
Might sound a silly question but I'm looking into replacing my disks. Just about to buy these but noticed from the pic that they don't appear to be vented. Is this usual with drilled and grooved discs? or should i keep clear?
Like I said might sound a daft question but would appreciate any help.

If your original disc's are vented then aftermarket drilled/grooved ones normally are the same and should be vented.

As Richi says, the fronts definately need to be vented. As a word of warning, many people have been experiencing failure of drilled discs due to cracking around the drilled holes. My personal preference would be for grooved only, or possibly grooved & dimpled (part drilled).
