can i put 235/45/17 insted of 225/45/17 on my03 sti

why would you want to? I've found the 225 to be a bit of a hunter on the road as it is, so 235 would be even more of a tramline fiend.

JDM spec STI have them as standard with RE070 tires so why not?

It'll raise the gearing a little and put the speedo out a bit.

Jim,

The JDM 05 car also has different hubs and wider arches, but personally i dont see why they couldnt, though you would have to ask a wheel expert who's tried it.
