What discs & pads for STI 7????
Okay,
ive read through tons of post on here on the subjuct but i just want some general advise.
Im gonna definately need front pads soon on my brembo equiped STI 7. The discs have only done 20k and have a small lip but nothing major.
Ive been looking at redstuff ceramic pads, will these be okay on my standard discs or will i need to run the EBC turbo grooved discs too?
If the redstuffs are crap will i be better of getting the EBC discs and maybe some ferodo/pagid/mintex pads to run on them?
if so which pads? How much are these and where do i get em?
Alternatively do i just get plain discs and uprated pads.
So bottom line which are the best discs and pads for the money?
Please help as i wanna get this done but i dont wanna have to sell a leg to afford it.

Hi mate...
I have just upgraded my discs and pads on my 02 STI Type UK ...
I had this done yesterday at Northants Subaru (www.northantssubaru.co.uk) where I had 4 new EBC Turbogroove discs put on together with redstuff ceramics..
I havent been far yet but initial results are very good, much improved braking, the pedal feels a whole lot different, the discs really look the business in their gold colour behind the gold wheels..
Hopefully less brake dust too!
cheers...
Andy
