Default Fitting 4 pots to a 97 uk

Hi All

I was wondering if this is a hard job to be done to change my brakes form a 97 uk spec to a 99 4 pot uk spec on the standard 16 inch wheels .

all i need is the calipers discs and pads our is it a bigger job than that

Thanks

Ben

Yes simple as that, would do braided hose lines front and rear and some new/good brake fluid.
I personally would have the calipers checked and if necessary serviced for peace of mind.

only thing to be aware of is that some style 16" wheels do NOT clear the 4pot caliper, be worth a trial fit first to save any problems................

I bought the callipers without these extra bits. Is it easy to get anti rattle shims etc?

Yes, you need to make sure you have the right offset.

The diameter will be fine but you need to be aware of the front face clearance,
that's the distance between the back of the spokes on the wheel and the caliper face.

Rob, offset is not normally the issue its simply the spoke design..................
