Default Brake Master Cylinder Stopper

Does anyone have a brake master cylinder stopper on a newage car and if so are they any good, the part i mean is a bracket that bolts to the inner wing and stops the brake master cylinder from moving when you hit the brakes hard.

Cheers

You're talking about a master cylinder damper i assume.

I have spoken myself with a few people about these and to be honest
they don't have a lot of funtionality, they just look pretty.

The classic cars had a design fault in that the bulkhead was too weak and flimsy and when you pressed the brakes hard the whole bulkhead moved reducing the effort into the brakes. The steady bracket stopped this happening by bracing the end of the brake master cylinder onto the strut turret which is stronger.

The new age cars are much more substantially built (and heavier as a downside...) so presumably don't suffer the same problem otherwise someone would be making and selling similar strengthening brackets.
