Default Bedford trackday

Just done a day at Bedford Autodrome in my Scoob. This was the first time I'd tracked the Scoob having done numerous others in Caterhams, TVRs etc...

It's a UK 2000 turbo , remap, KYBs, Eibachs, toyo Proxies type S.

I must admit, whilst the brakes were superb (Godspeed 335's at front) I encountered loads more body roll than I thought I would.

I stiffened up the Shocks (front and rear) but I think maybe (After reading threads on here) that the Toyo S tyres arnet the best. I have a number of photos taken of the day and in more than one it looks like the tyre is almost off the rim. Is this the problem with the Proxie S tyre which the type R will overcome ?

Also, I have whiteline ARB front and rear to get fitted yet which I assume will help a lot.

If I cahnge the tyres what would be the recommendation for track use, yet still road legal ?

cheers

Rob

wouldnt worry too much - bedford has loads of hard almost hairpin turns - its the track more than the car - try oulton pk or donnington...
