Toyo T1-R's
Can anyone tell me where I can get a hold of the above tyres (205/45/17).
I've phoned/emailed a few places now and they all tell me it is near impossible to get a hold of the T1-R.
Cheers,
Paul

i have just replaced all 4 of mine today with the T1R's.... initially wanted the same as u, the 205/45/17 but toyo have just brought them out very recently apparently (when i say recent i mean the 4th of july) there was quite a back log of orders and i couldnt get hold of any either. I wasnt prepared to wait as my old p-zeros were more bald than duncan goodhew after a full wax ready for his next freestyle 100metres.
I went for a set of 215/40/17's instead. They give more grip and fit on perfectly. haven't run them for long so dont know what they're like yet but they look proper daddy!
you could wait for the 205/45's or go for the 215/40's, it makes little difference really... just a bit more grip. alternatively you could go for the T1S which have been around for a while and come readily available in 205/45/17. Not as good as the T1R though...allegedly.

I rang round Lincoln to get some 215/45/17's some places said they couldn`t get them, One even tried to charge me more cos he could get them from toyo europe and they chad to be couriered across, and few said they could get them, so went with what i thought was the best deal. So just ring round your local tyre firms and see if they can sort you out.
