Default PFF7s, Prodrive Springs & Rubbing Tyres

I've running PFF7s and the prodrive lowering springs on my '04 WRX Wagon, but when the car's loaded down and the rear suspension is compressed suddenly, i'm experiencing a tyre/wheelarch interface.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem, surely this can't be correct?

I have that combination on my 03 STi (saloon) with no problem. Is the rear track slightly wider on the wagon?

I get the same problem with my MY03 wagon, also lowered. The only option is to go with a profile suited to the classic; 215 35 18s are ok on mine.

Curiously though, with 225s 18s on, it only rubbed on the drivers side, which confused me.

I'm glad it's not just me! It seems to only be the Drivers side on mine as well.

What really hacks me off is that i'm using all parts purchased from a subaru main dealer and the recommended tyre size.

I might ask the dealer to have a look at the next service.

I'm guessing that the 4dr is OK because of the flared wheel arches.
