Cool Black Impreza with Anthracite wheels, any pics?

The powder coating on my gold alloys on my black MY01 wagon is pretty much beyond any patch up job so before another winter I am going to go for a complete refurbish. They are currently gold and whilst it aint every ones cup of tea I like em.

problem is I also like the colour they did P1 wheels in anthracite, I can get pics of the wheels solo but need to see them on a car before I splash the cash to get the job done in case I change my mind when they are done, can anyone chop a photo to show this or do they have a car with this combination?

Sure someone can help.

Question

That looks just the trick thanks but looks darker than I thought, dim question, is it black or anthracite? I am looking at using sherlock and sweeney in birmingham for my wheels you see.

Hi Mr Sympathy,

I used a company called Bourne Powder Coating based in Birmingham to have my wheels P1 wheels powder coated in anthracite.
The wheels came out fine but they are a lighter shade than the original p1 anthracite colour. But it only cost me £15 for each alloy. I think they had limited shade choice.
How much do Sherlock & Sweenes charged per wheel.
Would be interested to see the final results if you go ahead with S & S powder coaters.

Nathan your wheels look a slight touch darker shade than mine, What type of finish did you have done? Matt or gloss lacquer?

Ticky

The lacquer was gloss IIRC. Certainly they were very shiny.

Not got exact prices yet but estimates off website probably work out 50quid per wheel but i need a drive in drive out service with valves balancing etc which will prob work out just over 200 notes i believe, have you got details of this place you went to and when i go ahead i can get quotes from both.

I have not got their details anymore, I just know how to get there, sorry.
Perhaps Yellow pages might have their details?
They are in Digbeth, just off Pershore Road on a side street.
