Newage master clyinder?
I have recently bought a full set (front+rear) of Brembo brakes from a 2002 Sti to fit to my my98 Sti 4 (already have a set of PFF 7's so clearance is not an issue).
Would i be right in thinking that if i fit them i will get a very long middle pedal due to the increased capacity of the new brakes larger pistons?.
And would it be possible to fit a master cylinder from a newage Sti to over come the problem?, assuming that it is larger in the first place.
Any thought would be welcomed.

yes, that is an issue based on what i have seen recently with a a big brake kit on an older classic, i had no problems on my STi5 with AP's though, so they may have used smaller master cylinders on the Pre-STi5 versions. I have been told the newage WRX and STi master cylinders fit the classic but havnt seen that done myself so it's second hand info. Sorry i cant give you a definate yes/no.

Thanks for the info John, i have decided to fit the front calipers only for the time being , hopefully this will give me some indication as to wheather the brake pedal will have more travel due to increased piston capacity.
If it does i may well try and fit a newage master cylinder.
