the bridgestones are a very good tyre but most on here seem to prefer the goodyear f1 gsd-3,the bridgestones are a very solid stiff tyre which in return gives a more responsive feel in the steering but some also say it makes you feel every lump in the road, where as the f1's are a more softer sidewall,so they dont feel as harsh but still grip as well as the bridgestones if not more, even though some people tend to run the pressures in the f1's higher than usual to increase the stiffness of the tyre,i personally went for the michelin ps2's which are a stiff tyre and better than the f1's in dry but not quite as good as f1's in the wet.if you do a search on here you will find a few threads about tyres, some say the toyo's are good but from my experience they aren't quite in the same league as g.year,mich,b.stone.tyres tend to be a personal prefence thing but if i was you i would try the f1's as they are proven to be good and then you will have experience between a stiff tyre and a softer tyre, then next time you can decide which you prefer instead of just believing the hype.

If you want to stick with Potenza's it is well worth paying the extra and getting the RE050A. Not the RE050. Awesome tyres, wet or dry.

What's the difference between the RE050A and the RE050?

Thanks
