Unhappy Rumble when breaking...

When i am driving normally all is ok, maybe because of the nosie from the car..when slowing down to a stop or when breaking if stuck in very slow moving traffic i hear a rumble comming from the front wheels...

Checked my pads and they seem ok...

Any thoughts?

sounds like a 'cracked' or 'warped' disc.

If you also get a vibration throught the steering when braking then it's most definately warped discs. Had it myself on a number of different cars.

sam, have you checked the back of the disc and the rear pads (in the front caliper)?? quite often find that people only look thro' the wheel and whilst this looks fine you actually have to take the wheel off to check properly......................
