Godspeed
Are the 4 pot calipers in the Godspeed big brake kit any good? It is a 355mm kit with 4 pot calipers. I just wondered if the calipers on my my01 (subaru 4 pots) were better. And should i only go, for just the 335mm disc upgrade instead.

I personally have the 335mm kit thats uses the subaru caliper,That way you then have the choice of two pads designs to use, standard Subaru shape, or XJS, which a re very cheap at autofactors…… that’s what I use, although if you have the Brembo kit you could theoretically seel the 4 pots you have, but you might want to keep them for the future…

Yes, that’s what I thought, but ian does two 335mm kits, one with your original callipers with spacers to suit, and another with different brembo callipers…… the kit with the original ‘Subaru’ callipers is fine….….

iv got them on mine, they stop great, much better than 4 pots iv had on my old car! but they squell a bit once warm.
The previous owner had them fitted, but i believe they are custom made using jag brakes yes! might be tempted for some phat AP calipers at some point tho!

webby,
I have the 4 pot godspeed kit with 325mm discs.
Tried two sets of pads; cleaning etc but still not too over enthusiastic with their performance.
In hindsight i wish I'd have paid the extra for AP 6pots but this is just my opinion. I know a lot of other users are perfectly happy with their set ups.
Regards
Rob
