Default HELP!!! I want clean wheels!

Do you know of some easy (relatively) way of keeping your wheels clean, mine are alway's caked in brake dust and salt, with a little cow crap thrown in for good measure. What i'm really after is a painless way to keep them looking clean, idealy some sort of magic spray on potion, that make's the ****e just rinse of when you wash them, or even better a spray that would stop the grime building up to start with. PLEASE HELP, one desperately dirty wheel owner (well four actually).

Use Megiurs (available at Halfords think thats how its spelt) wheel cleaner called "Hot Rims" and a decorating long bristled brush from homebase.

Then apply a good quality wax afterwards, buff and shine and it protects the wheels for a few weeks...then repeat

Totally agree ^^^^^^^^

Although Meguires "hot rims" can be bought on the internet for £6.99 a throw with free p&p, can't remember site now! I spray it on at the jet wash and then wash it off and ALL the brake dust/road grime/tar etc just goes. Maybe twice a year I use a brush or cloth to get a couple of stubborn bits off, then wax them again and that's all.

Try it mate, I tried loads before I found this one, you won't be disappointed, go on, you know you want to!

Wonder wheels is a great product, but can be harsh.
Use a polymer sealant ie Meguiars NXT wax as this tends to stay on the wheel longer.
Lots of regular cleaning is the way really.
