Default Pad recommendations and prices for Brembo Sti callipers

Wanted some new pads for an 02 STi (with Brembo callipers) that are better than the OEM ones and hopefully cheaper!!! OEM pads are £170 for the front and £140 for the rear. Nothing too track orientated please.

The usual story is...

Pagid RS4.2.1 - Expensive but V. Good
Mintex 1155 - Noisy but V.Good
Ferodo DS2500 - Dirty but V.Good
EBC Red Ceramic - Cheap but V.Good

www.camskill.co.uk (or www.camsport.co.uk ) are usually cheapest for EBC, but try www.asperformance.com and www.ebcbrakesdirect.com .

holy moly cant belive this is surch a secret, i did not want to pay big money for brake pads for my brembos, went through catolouge of pads (took some time) but discovered that brembos are used on 406 coupe the discs are thiner which means pads are a bit to thick but i had mine grinded and they are perfect. so dont pay extotionate prices cause its a scooby. take your pick from lots of makes i got pagids for £40 and noticed no difference from my last set that cost me £175.

all donations appreciated
