brake upgrade for STi 4
Please could anyone suggest a mid level (in terms of budget) brake upgrade kit for my STi 4?
will i get anything decent for £600-800? Is it worth getting a better specced 4 pot kit? Or will i need to go 6 pot to get a worthwhile increase in braking performance?

IMHO for that sort of cash your either looking at the Godspeed big disk conversion kit a set or braided hoses and some high DOT fluid OR you could keep an eye out for a second hand set of Brembo`s or the such like. Prices for the brembo`s vary but keep an eye out for a blob eye owner upgrading their brakes as i`ve heard that they fit with a wee bit of work.
P.S If this is wrong i`m sure someone will correct me soon enough !!!LOL!!!

Had a look at godspeed, Take it you mean the 335mm kit? What size are the STi 4 brakes as standard 300mm?
anyone know the pros and cons of both the ferrado and mintex pads?
Thanks.

im using the subaru 4 pots(i think they are the same as what u have?) 4 pot non brembo
im usig a racing brake rotor slotted nickel plated rotor with hawk HP+ pads, they are not as good s the brembos but for cost they a nice pic of my brakes(for caliper ref)
