I use Mintex 1144 on AP 330mm 4 pots and have been told that these are also hard on discs. 1 year on there isnt even a lip worn on the disc yet, despite some spirited use.
I know theyre not 1155's as requested, but its the best I can offer. Daz.

Must admit, I've thought about 1155's myself. Do they take much warming up, or are they ok from cold? Daz

Had some "track" pads before (not in scoob) and I could never keep enough heat in them. Good on twisties, but show them a descent straight and they would cool off, and the pedal would be inconsistent for the next (high speed) corner. Would be interested to see how you get on once they're properly bedded in though, cheers. Daz

I had some 1155's put on a year ago with existing OE discs. One year on for next full service and needed new pads and discs!! Might be coincidence but Kev at scoobyclinic said they're a hard pad. I also felt that to get the best out you really had to heat them up or take a can of the old popeye spinach with you for normal use.
Got Ferodo DS2300's on now (6/7 weeks) and these feel much better from the off. Not had them upto the same temperature as the 1155's but I feel happier already with the 2300's.
Anyway I've now got slightly larger scoobyclinic grooved disc for cheaper price than replacement OE discs - upgrade that's cheaper, that's music to my ears

My experience is similar to above with 1155's. Think I will get some new discs and some different pads

1155s are quite an agressive pad- but having said that I run 1166 with godspeeds and no probs whatsoever. I used 1155s with standard disks once and it did groove them, I wouldn't go any harder than 1144 if you're using standard disks. they're still a very good pad, and are quite up to fast road driving and the odd track day.

I had 1155 + OE 2pot disc. Disc lasted up to 10 000km moderate use. Never noticed as week on cold (may be at -10°C first braking). On other side DS2000 with Godspeed brakes are so poor when cold... they stopping power is similar to 2pot system.
So If somebody says Ferodo I say never again. Next pads should be 1155, od Pagid blue or yellow.

I have the 1155s on the front with pagid 8 groove discs(four pots) and the 1144s on the rear with standard discs. Over 10000 mls the front discs have no lip at all, seem to be wearing well, but the rear standard discs with the 1144s are in need of replacing.
