I had the same problem with my MY00 when replacing discs, ended up with another type of AP disc instead (308mm), may have needed to also change the bells (it was a while back though).

I have this kit and my AP discs have just worn out so I ordered the Godspeed upgrade which fits with the Brembo calipers. The discs are larger at 325mm but they have the 12 holes drilled in them that you need to fit them on to the bells that come with the SS kit.

Hopefully mine are arriving next week, I got the impression that Godspeed have them in stock now.

Cheers

Si

Edited to say that I forgot to mention that Godspeed can also supply replacement AP discs of the same type.

Cana people post photos of their SS kits please (308mm diameter)

I need some new discs and need to know if they're AP or otherwise.

The kit was funny, the calipers were the same as those from a Fiat turbo coupe, the discs were AP 305mm/28mm, plus AP bells (braided hoses etc)
I replaced mine with 308mm/28mm AP discs and different bells as the discs were different and the old bells didnt fit the new discs.
AP racing sorted out the discs though, as i said previously though, its going to be tomorrow before i can see what they were replaced with (if they still have the invoice for it).

Thanks for the info so far folks

Next thing needed is Ian Godney's mobile number - PM if available!

This is a mission from God - basically I get to drive PTMW! round Brands again if we get the brakes sorted by next Friday

Other options include loan of big brake kit (needs to be off car & ready to go) or suitable discs

C'mon everyone!

Puff, have your tried Hi-Spec over in Dartford yet? I got them to make me a set of bells and discs when I refused to pay AP's prices for my Scoobysport Brembo kit...

Scoobysport 304mm dia disc on left - Hi-Spec 300mm dia replacement on right

Steve, when I bought the discs and bells it worked out that the bells were 65 quid each and the discs 60 each all plus the dreaded But that was 3 years ago!

I bought some new discs about 2 years ago and IIRC they were a little under 70 quid plus VAT

even though they're a smaller diameter, are they still ok with the same caliper brackets?

Also, I thought the SS kit was 308mm?
