Road tyre choices??? argh help me decide......
Hi.
It's tyre time for me once again..
(tyre's= death by track day)
I have Goodyear F1's GSD3 at the moment, and they are ok I suppose.
I am currently using 215/40/17 (P1 alloys)
What do you all think of Bridgestone S03's? (had an excellent quote for these) any ideas if it's worth changing up to 225width's or maybe 45 profile?
Running a fair bit extra power over standard if it matters.
I'm looking for a decent balance of wear and performance (isn't everbody).
*The new tyres WONT be used for track or drag strip.*
(until they are near shagged )
Any ideas?

If you've got a classic - don't change the profile from what you have now. The 225's particulary in 45 profile will rub on your rear arches.
As for the choice, I'd stay away from S03's - I've only heard one person say to me that they liked them (on an Evo), everyone else has said they were a bit of a disappointment to say the least and they've changed to F1's or Toyo's and found them better in both the dry & wet.
If you fancy a change from the F1's, try out the new Toyo T1-R's - I'm thinking about them (dependant on price) when my F1's run out.
