Itīs best to speak with a company that deals with powdercoating. Itīs not expensive either. Before You powdercoat the calipers You need to have them (I donīt know the English translation for this word, but I think itīs called this) glass-blasted.

I also recommend You to check the rubberhousings in the calipers for the pistons so they not are damaged after they have done this.

I did this on my old Brembos and I did a thing that is not recommender. I used an air-compressor to get the pistons out of the calipers. The rubber-housings are not CHEAP on Brembo brakes, It costed me around 200 pounds to order new ones :-(

Best luck

J

it's for my wheels m8, not my calipers figured as i was going to just paint them with normal car paint/lacqured finish, i'd look into me doing the powdercoating, but if i have to take it back to the metal, i doubt i'll bother, but thanks

are you wheels paint or powdercoat at the moment?
Should be paint. why dont you paint them again.
I was thinking if the standard subaru 16" wheels would look nice in gold.

Power Coating is applyed by two methods. Tribostatic powder coating and Electrostatic powder coating. Electrostatic being the most common.
Have a look at the following link this should help you understand how it is done.

echo that its not expensive.

my local wheel refurb shop charge the same for powder coating which they subcontract. so probly even cheaper if you go direct to coaters. although i think you will be very limited to colours available

cheers
