The incorrect offset will either result in Fouling of wing/arch or strut and cause excessive load on wheels bearings and ultimately failure.
18" PFF-7's only come et51 and so fits both WRX and STi's.
If this percenatge is maintained the centre load piont wheel to hub will be maintained and any wheel/tyre increased width will be evenly spread.
eg 1" wider wheel would get 1/2" near the Arch and 1/2" nearer Strut etc. Remember the difference between a 205,215 and 225 width of tyres is Factor as it's the tyre that will rub not the wheel
Tony
Ps I didn't say it would be easy
pps that's why I bought some PFF-7's
ppps Flame suit ready but at least I tried

You need to get the maths right mate.
ET35 means the wheel will be 53-35=18mm or 51-35=16mm or 46-35=11mm further OUT than our 18" wheels. A spacer will then further reduce the effective ET of the wheel.
To answer the original question, ET35 will not fit the Impreza properly and are probably best fitted to the VW that they were designed for.

Thanks for the reply, ive opened up a can of worms here
Its just i was looking at some 18" super tourismos that have come off a 22B
I have a 02 WRX which will have the Godspeed Caliper splitting kit on it.
Just to throw more petrol onto the fire
