You have to already have the 4pot calipers for this kit!

No you don't, Godspeed do a kit which includes some Girling 4 pot calipers.

The kit that the link was for did not include calipers, and says it included spacers for the original 4 pots.

Thumbs up

The kit in the link is for cars which already have the OE Scoob 4-pots. It adds bigger discs, and modifies the calipers to suit.

Godspeed also do a kit with Girling 4-pot calipers, and one with Brembo calipers.
Both can use discs from 300-335mm IIRC, your choice according to your wheel size.

IMHO Godspeed brakes are some of the best out there especially value-wise.

E-mail them ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk

Talking

I ordered and received mine last week, haven't got round to fitting them yet cos I'm waiting for a tap to tap the hub out.

My first thought when I saw them is OMFG look at the size of them!!! They are huge!!!!!!

Really cant wait to get them on the car

Used godspeed setup for 6 months now..

Still no fade, even braking hard from 130 mph..... unbelievable considering that your still using original calipers.

I had tried three different set ups prior to these, and they came nowhere near the braking power of the Godspeeds....

If you read through some of the previous posts then there were issues with this kit. I for one have had a couple of nigglies, but thats all they were.

Ian had a calliper bolt problem that wasnt dangerous, just a pain. This was sorted straight away by Ian.

The only other problem is noise from the pads. This can be in 2 forms.

1 the holes in the pads being a little larger than the pins. This creates a low speed rattle. Fixed by chemical metal easily.

2 the type of pads used produce squeal. Live with it.

Even with these problems I wouldn't hesitate in buying the same kit from Ian again. A very good price for an awesome kit.

Jeez, why are people more concerned that the guy posted a link to the 335 kit when he wanted the complete kit?

I think the biggest issue with these kits is the availability of pads for the Girling caliper, as people wated something better than greenstuff or Mintex m1144

I have no problems with Godspeed at all... Sorted a problem out with my sh1te Hi-specs and then provided some lovely AP 6 pot calipers and squeezed under 17" wheels

Yep, I suppose he does want the complete kit. But he may want to go the route of using the Subaru 4 pots if he can get them cheap enough.

And, I was responding to his "issues with this kit". :-)
