SPACE SAVER SPARE LOOKS STUPID !
Got a puncture yesterday in the sidewall of tyre so thats going to be £130 to fork out today for a new one.A sickener as I have only done a few thousand miles on it.Had to fit the spare space saver wheel to get home and order a new tyre.
Spare looks absolutely crap, its painted a horrible mustard colour and is so skinny it looks ridiculous. Got fatter tyres on my motorbike.
Stuck car away in my garage out of sight till I can get original wheel back on.
They say things happen in threes so I hope that is it after running over a piece of wood and smashing a skirt off, skuffing a PFF7 and now a tyre knackered since getting my 03 WRX.
Saw the WR1 at my dealers yesterday so if my luck changes and I win the lottery tonight I'm having one.
cheers

Tuff break mate, but, would you really want your boot full of a ful size spare, and also the additional weight, plus the issues of putting a new tyre on what could be a car with worn out other tyres, (diff issues) etc etc etc.....

TRUE
Yeh I know you are right on all counts. Its just me pissed off, especially as its cost me a grand to put the son and daughters cars right after mishaps this month as well.
Never mind, its only money.
Better than watching telly eh.
Feeling better after a moan.
cheers
