Default Import - WRX

Can anyone tell me if the brake pads on an JDM Impreza WRX STi MY00 are the same shape / size as the UK STi 2002 onwards?

Thanks

NO not the new shape STi....................all models wether UK or JDM spec using the "subaru" 4pot calipers are the same, however the new shape STi's run the "brembo" set-up with totally different pads...................
hope this helps

If the WRX has gold Brembo's fitted? Are these the same as the STi Brembo's 2002 onwards or still the same as Subaru 4 pots?

Cheers for your help.

if the WRX has 'gold brembos' then it would suggest that someone has swapped the calipers..........................so then yes, in this case the pads needed would be the 2001> STi pads..............

if it has the original calipers fitted - the word "subaru" can be seen quite clearly cast in the side of the caliper!!

hope this helps,
