minimum tyre thread allowance , decent S4 tyre?
As it says on the tin.... whats the minimum in mm's that a tyre needs to be to pass an MOT.. my wifes S4 may need some new boots to pass.
Also, a bit of a long shot, but has any one got experience of decent tyres on a 2000 plate Audi S4? I have always used Eagle F1's on my cars but not sure what they would be like on the Audi? Audi seem to use Michelin Pilots.
Cheers in advance

Friend of mine has a 2000 S4. He tried Eagle F1s and then went back to Michelin Pilot Sports. Prefers the Michelins as they are quieter and seems to handle better - Not sure the sidewalls are that stiff on F1s and it is a heavy car !

Cheers Jim, i did have the same concern myself as I know the f1's are softer than say, bridgestones. On my scoob i can feel the difference in stiffness between the 2. Maybe we should stick with Michelins then. Thanks richard
