Hi, i'm having some problem with my anti lock brakes The light came on today and won't go off. It's previously come on and a buzzing noise was heard under the bonnet it was comming from the electrical box bit on the side of the abs system a relay was buzzing i moved it a bit and it stopped and the abs light went off.

Now the abs light is on constantly and moving the relay doesnt work anymore.

Now seems the abs is not working atall, i braked harshly and it skidded rarther than not.

Anybody any ideas?

Am i looking at a new abs unit or could it be the relay gone to pot?

Will this damage the braking system using it while the abs system is playing up?

Dunno about the fault but you shouldnt have any problems driving without the abs, it could be a sensor or like you say it could be the relay, but the best people to take it to would be the dealer, hopefully you have a warranty and if so they will sort it for you

Tony, unfortunatly it's a jap import so no go there i'm afraid

Think i'll take it to a scooby specialist I know of, see what he's got to say.
