Can anyone recommend 17" alloys to fit a UK MY99 Turbo with 4 pot brakes that cost about 100 a wheel. I am guessing they would have to be 7*17 with a 50 offset. Somewhere to buy them from would be extra helpfull.

Hi Colin

Couple of thoughts - keep an eye on the 'For Sale' section - alloy wheels come up on a regular basis or speak to someone like Tyres Northampton - they can normally do you a good deal. Details at

Hi Colin

we can get any of the Rimstock 17"s to your front door for under £100 each.

They have a very useful wheel visualiser at

Will these Rimstocks fit over Prodrive/Alcon brakes?

I like the look of either the Monza or Motorsport but it looks like the centre cap is a bit too nickable. On the Rimstock website I found an "Open Hole" version of the Motorsport wheel with no centre cap. Could you give me a price for 4 of the Open Hole versions in silver (size 7*17" et50) delivered to Scotland.
If you do not want to quote a price here I will give you my email.

I have 17" Monza's on mine, but went for the flat plate centre. Its held on with an allen screw. Makes the wheels much easier to clean(no nuts on show) and never lost one in 2.5 years. Make sure you get the 50 offset wheels, then you can fit 215/40 tyres on with no problems, as they also do 45 offset which only take 205/45 without rubbing on the rear wheel arches.

Hi Trouser!
Could you give me a price on the 17" Monzas the adge mentions? Including the centre plate? Also do you do the tyres also? I would want SO2-PPs or T1-S as they seem to get the best ratings here.

adge - what colour is yours (;-))? Do you have any pics of these wheels on the car? I work in Hale so not a million miles away!

I'm sure this is an FAQ (but I'll ask anyway!). I thought the radius of the wheels has to stay the same - so surely putting 40 tyres on 17" rather than 45 changes this? Or am I missing something rellay obvious? (very likely!)

Thanks

Nick

At your price , Scooby Sports 17 inch MIM's are the way forward. had them on my car for the last 2 years. Now use them on track and have Prodrive PD 7's for everyday use.

The MIM's come in the usual colours and they are on the webb site.

Cool

Just had an e-mail off Bren from a company called Apex whose read this thread, thought I'd pass it on.

"17" OZs with Goodyear Eagle F1s for £880 including fitting, balancing and p&p.

Or I could do the same package but with SO2s for £989."

I know a local dealer selling some MY01 17" wheels without tyres for about £350+VAT.

If you want more details drop me a mail

Cheers
