My nut's too big!

Hi guys.
Went to change my discs and pads at the weekend and gave up after taking off the wheel - didn't have a socket anywhere big enough to undo the centre nut. Looks to me to be about 32mm - can anyone confirm?

You shouldn't have to undo the center nut, this will probable release the whole hub, once the wheel is off the disc should come off with a bit of gentle tapping with a rubber mallet (or use the 2 tapped holds to pull the disc off.
