Hello guy's an gal's,
I am looking to purchase 18 inch wheels for my scoob, I like the look of the 6 spoke compomotive mo.
Does anyone know where i can purchase a set in the north west area and what sort of price?????
I have enquired about 18's in various wheel shops and am disapointed with the choise!!
I also like the new dare v1's, can you get these for the scoob???
So first choise compomotive mo, followed by dare v1 ( if i can get them ) and the last one's i looked at technomagnisio detroit.
Any one any idea of a good wheel??
Thax for any help guy's.

1) If it's a MY00 or earlier, there can be tyre clearance problems with 18's.
2) The critical point is offset. You need to check if the wheel you want is supplied in the correct Subaru offset.

Hi,
18" wheels are the business.
Unfortunately, there is not a fantastic choice because of the off-set on scoobies. There is some debate as to exactly what is OK, but needs to be about 55mm - see the SIDC site under FAQ's. The choice is then further limited by what colour you want.
I ordered some Speedline GT1's (in gold) a few weeks ago and have just had them fitted today, with P-Zero 225/35 tyres.
You will need to be careful with the tyre size as there is not a lot of clearance with the rear struts. The largest you can fit are 225/35. I was advised that if I went for these only the Pirelli P-Zeros would be OK. There is not a lot of room, but enough.
I was also told that the ride would be very hard. However, I don't think it is (currently running 32 psi front and rear). The car feels very sure footed and turns in brilliantly.
If you do go for the 18"ers then you should also get the geometry set to the Prodrive settings. These can also be found on the SIDC site.
If you want more info, please e-mail me.
Good luck
Simon
