CW42 uses redstuff on the front and greenstuff on the back I think???

PM him for his comments, sure he won't mind.

EBC themselves don't recommend mixing pad types. IIRC they now recommend Red Stuff for Imprezas.

Thought you might like to see this thread.......CW42's about his brakes.

Corradoboy is right, although the thread shows mixed opinion from differant people at EBC.

Not sure what you mean about "single walled discs". Presumably, you mean they aren't the vented ones that come on imports and later UK cars. Can't really see there being a real problem IF they are the same width. There will probably be a reduction in braking performance..........which I bet you won't even notice as its the rears.

Thumbs down

EBC don't recomend Green stuff for scooby's .

Greens and Reds should not be mixed, because the greens work better from cold than the Reds.

You need Red Ceramics.

EBC have had a rough ride; in the past their pads have been utter sh ite. They have got their act together recently and their yellows are pretty damn good for track use- john felstead will no doubt jump in sooner or later to confirm.

greens are no good in an Impreza, use red as a minimum.

I use mintex though

you have to replace "like for like" with the discs so what you have is incorrect...............................
