On the P1, are the standard brakes the same as the late spec impreza turbo, i.e. plain discs and the calipers have 'Subaru' on them. Or are they the grooved discs, and 'Prodrive' on the calipers (or is this the alcon upgrade).

The reason I ask is I have the oppertunity to purchase some 4pot brakes, which i'm told have come off a P1.

I just want to get in cleared for peace of mind really.

The standard P1 brakes are the Subaru embossed 4 pots, with plain discs.

The Prodrive upgrade has the big 330mm grooved discs and Prodrive embossed calipers.
