I'm in the process of upgrading to my 17" MIMs.....
I've got a set of MY00 16" + potenzas that will be redundant.
How much can I flog 'em for - need to buy some tyres for the MIMs...
Or should I keep 'em for a 'rainy day'???

"Potenzas" - if you mean RE010's, these tyres are worth nothing!!
Having just replaced the same with 17" P1 OZ Prodrive 10 spokes and S02's, RE010's have the friction coefficient of a vaselined eel on polythene.....wait until you see the difference!
And the last thing you want them for is a rainy day - they are lethal on these!!!!!
Seriously though, they will make a good track day setup.

Dan,
I have just upgraded to 17" wheels myself and have decided to keep my standard 16" ones for when I sell the car.
But I have seen Subaru dealers selling the 5 spoke 16" gold wheels for £399 IIRC, so about £300 would seem about right if they have not covered too many miles.
Regards Ian

Cheers guys,
Just wanted to know roughly what they're worth and whether they're worth selling.
Is it the general idea that most people keep their original wheels?

A lot use them for track days, and some keep to put back on when they sell them, but there are so many OEM wheels around now from upgrades (plus the Subaru dealers selling off all the gold MY00 wheels the P1's got shipped over here on) that £300 would probably be optomistic - it's not what they are advertised for but what they actually sell for that counts......
