Legacy,

Try putting some copper grease on the back of the pads and then put them back in the calipers. This should stop the squeal caused by slight vibration, make sure you don't get any on the dics or the front of the pads.

Unhappy

Though I still have plenty of wear left on my pads and WRX 4-pots, I've recently been getting a lot of squeal from my brakes at low speeds recently...

Any quick (safe/cheap) fixes that can be done to minimize the squealing?

Thanks in advance.

As Neil has said, copper grease on the anti squeel shims (unless the shims have been lost in the past - then buy some new ones).

In addition, I did find when my disks had become badly grooved (1,5mm ish) they started to squeal as well (solved by replacing disks).

Should have thought of this before, but when I rotated my tyres over the weekend, I finally got a good look at my front pads.

Looks like I've been doing a lot more braking than I thought because my pads are starting to look a bit thin. :-(

Guess the squealing was trying to tell me something...

Cheers.
