Brake pad advice
#1
just seen the Scoobyshop- is this a well kept secret or have I just had my head up my bum??
Anyway I need some advice.
I'll have to replace my pads soon, but don't want to spend too much.
1) Is the "Pagid Fast Road (ScoobyNet Shape A)" as good or worse than OEM?, and
2)is shape A (from the Scoobyshop info) the correct fittment for an MY99 UK car??
Help gratefully received
Cheers

THE MY99 FOUR POT FRONT PADS PLATES ARE OBLONG WITH FOUR HOLES ON THE ONE LONG EDGE AND ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE IN THE CENTRE IS A TINY PROTRUDING SQUARE. ABOUT £120 GENUINE (26296FA100) CAN GET IN EBC(ALL COLOURS) AND PAGID. NOT YET AVAILBLE IN DS2000 OR DS3000.
REAR TWO POTS ARE CRESENT SHAPE WITH ONE CENTRE OBLONG LOCATING PEG AT EACH END. £68 GENUINE (26696FA010). HAVE NOT FOUND ANY YET !!!! ALL THE ONES I KEEP GETTING ARE THE MY97-98 WHICH HAVE TWO OUTSIDE OLONG LOCATING PEGS EACH END.
I creamed a front and rear set of Subaru pads on my MY99 in one and a half trackdays. .But must say did not get any brake fade only brain fade.
HOPE THIS HELPS, NOT TO GOOD DESCRIBING THINGS WITHOUT HANDS.!!
IF THIS IS WRONG INFO SOORY,OOPS
