What is the diameter/rolling radius 98 spec scooby 16'wheel with 205/50 16 tyres compared to a 17' wheel with a 215/40 17 tyre? Some fitment guides say the 205/50 16'
wheel has a larger rolling radius by 7mm,if
so will going to 17's with 215/40 throw the
speedo out ?

205/50x16 = 1921mm circumference

215/40x17 = 1897mm circumference

Difference = 24mm

215 tyre has a 1.2% smaller circumference, which you won't really notice.

basically I don't know, but even if it did a bit, 7mm on the whole amount can't be more than the difference between a new tyre and a worn-out one can it?
