Fitting Brake Pads - March99Turbo
#1
.....Sorry if the trivial nature of this email offends serious Impreza owners.....
I need to fit new (Subaru) brake pads to my March 99 Impreza. Is this straightforward? Are there any tips you can pass on? Are the caliper pistons simply pushed back in or do you need a special tool?
Last did this on a '90 Golf GTi so not sure what to expect.

Should be dead easy mine were WRX STI V5,I used a piece of wood to push the pistons(4) back, just remember to remove the cap from the fluid reservoir when pushing the pistons back.Alittle bit of high melting point/gold grease on the back of the pads will stop some of the squealing.
