Have the S/Sport conversion.
Grooved discs and Pagids (2 pot front)
No real difference on the road (slightly noiser) but do not use them really hard on the road.
On the track they lasted a whole track day and I was staying out for 10 laps at a time.
Heavy wear on the pads means I need new pads.
1 track day + 6000 road miles.

If your serious about doing track days I would very seriously consider getting one of the 3 big brake upgrades.
People have found (including me) that the mid way upgrades still overheat and you have to come in early.
Depends on how you drive on the track, and when you want to brake.

Just out of interest I thought that going 'half-way' would be enough.
I went for Pagid Blues and Goodridge Steel Hoses. On the road the car was excellent, and on track, up to 20 miles was fine.
BUT, then I was on the track and was monstered by a car with 30bhp less than me - better driver perhaps - but the braking was the BIG difference.
I now have the AP 6 pot kit on and on road and track it is fantastic. I didn't think that on the road there would be much difference - but there is far superior pedal feel and response.
On track - simply superb - on Saturday afternoon I was starting to explore the braking limits and could run the full 30 min session (around 20 laps at Donington) with absolutely no fade or loss of pedal feel. Even after 150 track miles the pedal was a firm as ever.
My point is this - it may seem like a low cost option, but once you start down the path you will get to the end anyway - so it is cheaper to go the whole hog straight away.
Enjoy, which ever way you choose.
