DS3000's - P1 owners.....
#1
I'm guessing DS3000's were are fitted as standard by Prodrive to the P1.
What are they like for normal road driving considering they were designed as a track pad. Any problems with stopping??
Apologies for what may seem like strange questions, I do have my reasons!!
Cheers

Stuart - I think I know why you are asking
As a normal road pad, they were OK. Took a little bit of warming up, but basically if you needed to stop quicker than a damn good stamp on the brake pedal would delivery, then you are not paying attention / driving too close.
I remember only once when I found mine needed warming up, but all it took to stop was a little more pedal effort than normal.
The squealing of the brakes of low speed was the biggest pain in the ***.

Kurt
PS. Live in Milton Keynes, so brakes get used more than most.
