ABS light
#3
You may just have a bent or broken ABS sensor possibly caused by a stone. Happened to me a while back. New sensors are expensive but Pete at ScoobySport (or others no doubt) might be able to source you a secondhand one.

Do yourself a favour before spending tons of wonga..... Jack the car up or take each wheel off one at a time and look for the abs sensor. It should be easy to find. It will be sitting just above the exciter ring. Make sure each one is virtually in contact with the ring. They will not pick up if they have been knocked ie by a stone etc. When you switch the ignition on it checks that all the sensors are there. I would advise to check each one then try the ignition to see if the light is still on. Another check is to find a deserted bit of road and see if the abs works. The abs blocks rarely break and dealers love to charge fro them when it is a simple matter of the sensor.
