Question

Can anyone recommend a decent/cheap tyre supplier in the S W London area?

Cheers

Cheers for that SS.

They quoted £65 + VAT for Toyo T1-S and £85 + VAt for Bridgestone Pole Positions (both for 16" wheels)

Are they good prces anyone?

Cheers

Cool

No VAT if you pay cash

There is also a place nr/in Morden that are very cheap, will get their details tommorow as a guy at work uses them for his Alfaspud.

Try Elite Autos in Rainham in the meantime
anyhow.

Thought you were going for 17s?

Regards

If you go to Elite you can knock them down. Paid £480 fitted for 215/40/17's S02's -not a bad price.

before you ask Wembley were out of stock and I could wait no longer!

Other place to try is Micheldever down the M3 for a price comparison but I don't have their no. sorry

Just looking at my contingency plan together if I decide against the the 17s! Still unsure of the whole offset thing.

Good point on the cash bit though.

Get wheels with the minimum offset of ET50 and you'll be fine!!!

Obviously any of the Prodrive wheels are fine. Then there are the OZ Super T's, but they are only available in gold. There are P1 wheels if you can get hold of them. There are a few Radius wheels that are fine, and Scoobymania do a few others.

If you definately want the MIM's then have anotehr chat with Cheam Motors to see if they can get ones with the correct offset, rather than the ET45 ones!

Cheers

Andy

It was your comments - especially putting yours up for sale that has made me think twice. Wanted to see what the tyre price would be against the more expensive set of ET52 Mims!

Plus, my tyres are right at the limit and I need to sort something. May just change the tyres and sort out the wheels in the new year - then I'll have a track day set as well

Thanks for all of your help chaps!

Peter
