I would like to upgrade the brakes on my MY91 2.2 GX4WD Legacy . Does anybody know where I can get u/r pads and discs for this car ? Anybody any recommendations what to go for , bearing in mind that a Legacy is heavier than a Impreza . The current setup is standard discs and pads all round . I would like something suitable for occasional track days .

I have a MY92 Turbo saloon. I replaced the standard set-up with Tarox 40 groved discs and mintex 1144 pads. It is better than standard, but still suffers during prolonged use!!

On my MY94 Legacy Turbo saloon, I replaced the disc with new std ones (from Partco) plus new 1155 Mintex pads (what's the differenec between 1144 and 1155?) and it made a big difference. Still faded a bit though! The biggest difference was to replace the brake fluid with silicon fliud.
Cheers
Alex
